It takes little counter space and the controls are intuitive. Coffee ECM21 is easy to use and clean. The Mr. Though not made of the sturdiest materials (although, if you love your machine, you'll be gentle and attentive to proper maintenance), it is hard to imagine a better machine for the money. The value is unmatched and the performance has been trouble free since we got it. We have not had this machine for long but are very satisfied with it. Well done, Mr. Coffee.
Coffee products that I really like, but this is not one. I bought this to replace a Krups espresso/coffee maker combo, and I should have listened to the other bad reviews. Coffee is too slow to brew, tastes bad, and is awkward to set up in the first place. You get what you pay for. I have other Mr. The components don't fit together well - I have to force the carafe into place. It's very cheap, and I wish I had forked over the dough and gotten a better machine.
poor quality. when i can get it to work, it Takes way too long, coffee is only sorta kinda warm. the drip coffee maker turns off for no reason. Button staysin the on position, but the light goes off and it stops brewing. Does not taste good.overall cheap feel, all lightweight plastic. having said all that, the espresso part does work ok.
If you like having a pot waiting for you when you get up this one won't do it. Works Great. Only thing that is missing is a clock and brew timer. If I had known it didn't have a clock and timer I would have found one that did. Other than that it's a good coffee maker.
I love my Mr. I did not realize, (stupid me). Duh.I do not have a problem with coffee spilling everywhere, because I raise the lid with my thumb when I pour. I was daunted by some of the negative reveiws it received, but I went ahead and purchased it anyway, because it was the only one I could afford. Of course, I don't like my coffee scalding hot, either.All in all, if I had it all to do over again, I would have done it sooner, and not spent so much time wondering and worrying about it. What a great machine. Coffee coffee and espresso maker. that of course you have to add MORE WATER THAN YOU NEED for the espresso, so that the EXTRA can be used for steam.
It does everything just like it's supposed to; it was so easy, I didn't even have to read the directions. The only thing I couldn't figure out at first was how the milk frother worked. And I think that the coffee is hot enough. It truly is a remarkable machine for the price.
